Posted on November 18, 2015
White Chocolate Popcorn
Ingredients
2 Bags of Light Butter Microwaved Popcorn
1 to 1½ cup of colored Sixlets (or other colorful candy of your choosing, such as M&M's or Skittles)
1 11.5 oz Bag of White Chocolate Chips
½ Bag of Marshmallows
3 Tb Butter or Margarine
¾ Cup Corn Syrup
Instructions
1. Follow the instruction of the popcorn box and microwave the popcorn. Set aside.
2. In a saucepan mix the corn syrup, butter and white chocolate chips. Bring the mixture to a boil on medium heat, stirring frequently. Add the marshmallows and keep stirring until they melt.
3. Remove from heat and pour the white chocolate mixture on the popcorn. Mix together well. Add the candy of your choosing and stir them in gently, so as to not break the candy or popcorn.
With only about a half hour of work, you have a great, fun appetizer or dessert for your Christmas party—or maybe just a snowy winter night snack. Pick up the Jolly Time popcorn and candy ingredients at your local Norby's today to get started!
